Walk out for Holder

On the same day as the Supreme Court rules in favor of President Obamas health care overhaul, the House Republicans decide to vote on holding Attorney General Eric Holder in contempt of Congress which passes in the House. Holder was accused for not submitting some of the documents in the Fast and Furious program, which ultimately led to the death of a board patrol agent. To protest the vote, House Democrats hold a walk out during the call for votes.

Pennsylvania Sprint Car Races

On my road trip back from Boston, I stopped in Hanover, PA to see my grandfather on Father's Day. Sure enough, he was going to the races and I decided to tag along.  An old friend of mine is a Sprint Car Racer and I choose to photograph his team and their cars throughout the night and fortunately,  I picked the right team to do just that. Jacob, his cousin, came in first place and he got to celebrate it with his father, who is the owner of his race car. The celebration took place on the infield after the races; it was a very emotional time.

Katie's Senior Photos

Took a road trip up to what I consider home, Wakefield, Massachusetts to see family and old friends. While there for the week, I got the opportunity to take my cousin's senior photos and the opportunity to try a couple of different things.
