May in Budapest

One of the more beautiful European cities we have visited with its multiple bridges and castles. The Buda side is very hilly and provides an amazing view of the Pest side with thousands of buildings. The nights are truly magical as everything lights up and the city glows. It was a great trip and would defiantly put it in our top places we have been too. Hope you enjoy the photos!

Spent some time at the Budapest Zoo & Botanical Garden. Hungary's oldest zoo and one of the oldest in the world. Having about 700 different species of animals it was surprisingly pretty good zoo. The zoo is celebrating the birth of at least five different animal species including the birth of a baby elephant calf and four Asiatic lion cubs.

  1. Really like the marketplace and cityscapes! Any good food or interesting people in the marketplace? You speak Canadian right?
